International Skating Union 2022: Hanyu Yuzuru Retires

The Japanese figure skater Hanyu Yuzuru shocks fans with retirement announcement at age 27, after being recognised as one of the greatest figure skaters of all time. Following an impressive career with two Gold Winter Olympic medals at Sochi 2014 and Pyeongchang 2018. However, Hanyu missed out on 3rd consecutive medal at the Beijing 2022 games, leaving it unclear whether he would continue to compete.
