The Diamond League is the top tier of World Athletics' global invitational track and field meeting competition structure which began in 2010.

Compromising 14 meetings, spread across Asia, Africa, Europe and the USA, this annual series showcases 24 event disciplines distributed among the meetings. Athletes accumulate points throughout the season to earn a place in the Diamond League final, where they compete to win a Diamond trophy and a US$40,000 cash prize.

Combining the meeting prize money with the Diamond Race, the Diamond League annually offers a total of US$8 million in prize money.
